Patrick Able (Cast) is an accomplished actor and director
performing for over thirty years in the western
suburbs. His first opportunity to perform
happened at Addison Trail High School in 1970. Past works include American Buffalo, Twelfth Night, Love
Letters, and Pippin. Recent lead roles include ”John” in Oleanna, and “George” in both Of
Mice and Men and Who’s Afraid of Virginia
Woolf.
His most rewarding performance was
in this one man production of Jacob Marley’s
Christmas Carol, written by Chicago’s own
Tom Mula which Patrick first performed in
2003. Pat has worked with Inspirare Theatre,
Buffalo Theatre Ensemble, First Street Theatre,
Clarke Island Shakespeare Troupe, and Steel
Beam Theatre. Patrick founded and directed
the Improvisation Comedy Troupe “The
Laughing Stock” and directed Twain by the
Tale in St. Charles, IL. Patrick is delighted to
be performing this special Christmas story as
a benefit production in partnership with Dale
Bower and Addison Community Theatre.
Special thanks to Dale for embracing the
project and directing the production. Patrick
would like to dedicate his performances to his
parents who selflessly raised seven children in
Addison and made their home here for over
40 years!
